WATER WARRIORS is held in the Large Pool once a week for 8 weeks. Strengthen and tone your muscles while increasing your cardiovascular endurance. Combination of low and higher impact moves including runs, kicks, jumps, twists, suspension & resistance work. Equipment is provided.

Kettlebell Training
Join our 8 week kettlebell training program and condition your body to its optimum capabilities!
Kettlebells are unique, as they will holistically improve whole-body strength, endurance, and coordination. Kettlebell exercises purposefully target multiple muscle groups, mimicking day to day activities and refining the functional movements we all perform in life on a regular basis. All skill levels are welcome to class. As the weeks progress, so will the kettlebell techniques you will learn.

By working on Functional Movement, we will explore our bodies’ range of motion and increase strength and muscle by using fitness and mobility exercise based in a variety of movements from yoga, mobility training, weight training, Kettlebells and more to improve mobility while addressing any difficulties/pain you have in various ranges of motion.
STEP & SCULPT
Get ready to elevate your fitness routine with Step & Sculpt! This high-energy class combines classic step aerobics with targeted strength training for a full-body workout. You'll exercise while moving through fun, easy-to-follow step patterns designed to get your heart pumping. TOTAL BODY BOOTCAMP

TRAIL BLAZERS
This invigorating outdoor group running program set in the beautiful natural surroundings of camp is designed for all fitness levels, this program helps participants build stamina, increase endurance, and work their way up to running longer distances through a combination of guided runs, interval training, and trail challenges

This class is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve sustainable weight loss through proper nutrition.

YOUTH SPORTS & ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
The Middlesex YMCA offers a wide variety of Youth Sports programs as well as other enriching activities such as Judo, Cooking, Basketball, Climbing, Archery, Tee-Ball, Hockey, Kickball, Mountain Biking and Tumbling among others. We work hard to create a fun and inviting atmosphere from the moment your child enters the class. Once your child is comfortable, our teachers will continue to provide enriching activities which emphasize personal growth, not just the advancement of skills.

Programs with a Purpose
Develop Self Confidence: Children are encouraged to use their imaginations and are helped, by their teachers, to create an environment where everyone can challenge themselves and achieve objectives every class.
Practice Social Skills: Receiving a "Good Job" compliment from the teacher can be very exciting, but giving a peer a "Way to Go!" cheer can be a new social experience. Children are encouraged and assisted in interacting with each other and making new friends.
Learn New Skills: Our youth activities are led by experienced professionals. Activities are age and developmentally appropriate while progressing throughout the lessons.
Have Fun: Many times the activities are so much fun your children won't know they are simultaneously developing their skills . Youth activities are about participation and exposure to new experiences. Your children will always leave the YMCA with a smile on their faces.

Little Dribblers Soccer (Ages 4-6) Saturday 9am - 9:45am
Location: Camp Ingersoll in Portland

Focusing on participation, building confidence, and having fun, participants will learn the basic skills of soccer. Kids will learn the fundamentals of passing, dribbling, and shooting in soccer, all while being able to meet new friends, and learn in an active, non-competitive, and fun atmosphere.
Mini Olympics (Ages 6-9) Saturday 10:15am - 11:00am

This brand-new program acts as an extension to our STACK'D Sports class, although no previous experience is required! As Mini Olympians, participants will fine-tune their technique and skills in a new sport each week! Archery, Climbing, Disc Golf, Basketball, Baseball/Softball, and more!

Practice basic outdoor cooking fundamentals, skills, and safety. This hands-on class includes a new homecooked meal that you can take home or eat in class, your very own recipe book, and a personalized chef's apron!

Offered to anyone who has been diagnosed with pre-diabetes or Type 2 Diabetes who wants to have a healthier lifestyle. A prescription and release to exercise from your physician is required for enrollment.
LIVESTRONG AT THE YMCA helps adult cancer survivors reclaim their health and wellbeing following a cancer diagnosis. Survivors increase strength, develop supportive relationships and increase their quality of life.
